NK / NKN Laminates
NK / NKN laminates are two or three layer insulation materials created by covering one or both sides of the polyester film with aramide paper (Nomex®). The polyimide film in this structure provides high dielectric and mechanical strength. Nomex® aramid paper increases heat resistance. NK / NKN laminates can be used in applications with temperature class H 180°C. It is produced with 50 micron aramid paper as standard, but upon request, it can be produced with 80 micron, 130 micron and 180 micron aramid paper.
